Samsung is gearing up to unveil its latest foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, in early July. These next-gen devices are expected to push the envelope in terms of sleekness and functionality.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is rumored to be a game-changer with its anticipated reduction in thickness. While initial expectations suggested a folded thickness of 9.5 mm, recent leaks propose a remarkable reduction to 8.2 mm. This would make it the slimmest foldable phone available, surpassing the Oppo Find N5 which measures 8.9 mm folded.
Camera specifications are expected to remain consistent, with the main shooter boasting a 200 MP resolution, complemented by a 10 MP telephoto and a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle lens. Display enhancements are also on the horizon, with the internal screen size increasing from 7.6 inches to 8 inches, and the external screen expanding from 6.3 inches to 6.5 inches, aligning with the dimensions of the recently launched Fold Special Edition.
On the Galaxy Z Flip 7 front, there are several notable upgrades. The cover screen will grow from 3.4 inches to 4 inches and adopt a more rectangular shape. Furthermore, the battery capacity is set to rise; the current 4,000 mAh battery will be upgraded to 4,300 mAh in the new model. Despite this increase, charging speeds are expected to remain unchanged.
The camera setup for the Flip 7 is likely to stay the same, featuring a 50 MP main camera and a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, providing users with reliable and versatile photography options.
