Sony has recently revealed plans to raise the prices of its PlayStation Plus subscription service in certain regions, including South America, Oceania, and specific Asian countries. The company cited global market conditions as the driving factor behind this decision. New pricing details are expected to be announced on April 16.
In this context, the PlayStation Plus subscription fees in Turkey will also see a notable increase. According to notifications sent to subscribers, these changes will take effect for billing cycles starting on or after June 24th. However, any modifications to current subscriptions, such as tier changes or downgrades, might result in immediate reflection of the new rates. Until this date, subscribers have the opportunity to renew at existing prices.
The announced increase in Turkey reflects a substantial rate hike of 55 percent. This announcement follows recent news of price adjustments for the PlayStation 5 across Europe, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand.
