Before Samsung could officially unveil its latest flagship, the Galaxy S25 Edge, the pricing details were inadvertently revealed on the company’s website. This surprise came from the terms and conditions section of a promotional campaign in Canada, providing the first official hint about the device’s price point.

Unexpected Leak from Samsung’s Own Platform

In a Canadian promotional campaign, Samsung is offering a 20% discount on the Galaxy Tab S10 FE tablet to owners of the Galaxy S25 series or specific home appliances. However, the product list on the promotion page not only included eligible devices but also disclosed the prices for the Galaxy S25 Edge. According to the list, the 256 GB version of the Galaxy S25 Edge is priced at 1,678.99 Canadian dollars, while the 512 GB model carries a price tag of 1,858 Canadian dollars. These amounts roughly translate to 1,200 US dollars and 1,340 US dollars respectively.

On the same day, another report unveiled the South Korean prices for the device. It is indicated that the 256 GB model will be available in Korea for approximately USD 1,049, and the 512 GB variant will retail for around USD 1,140. These variations in pricing can be attributed to differing tax policies and exchange rates between countries.

Galaxy S25 Edge: Expected Launch Timeline

The launch date for the Galaxy S25 Edge has been set. Samsung is anticipated to showcase the device at a special event on May 13, after which the pre-order phase will commence. The official release is expected in South Korea on May 23, followed by a US launch on May 30. Information regarding its release in the Turkish market remains undisclosed at this time.

Anticipated Features of the Galaxy S25 Edge

Samsung’s pricing strategy clarifies the Galaxy S25 Edge’s position in the market: it is clearly targeted at the premium segment. According to previous leaks, the device’s hardware supports this positioning. The S25 Edge is expected to feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, complemented by 12 GB RAM and a 4,000 mAh battery capacity. On the camera front, a dual sensor setup with 12 MP and 200 MP sensors is anticipated to enhance its photographic capabilities.
