Samsung initially planned to introduce the Galaxy S25 Edge in April, but unforeseen circumstances have led to a postponement. The new anticipated release window is now slated for May or June, as communicated to the three major telecom operators in South Korea.
This delay comes in the wake of a leadership change following the sudden passing of Vice President JH Han last week. As a result, Samsung has decided not to host a grand launch event for the Galaxy S25 Edge. Instead, an online event will reveal key details such as the phone’s pricing and release timeline.
The Galaxy S25 Edge, featuring a 256 GB model, is expected to be priced at $1,023. This model will boast a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x display, the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, a dual camera system with 200 MP and 12 MP sensors, a 12 MP front camera, and a 3,900 mAh battery. Consumers will have the option to choose from three color variants: black, blue, and silver.
