Samsung has officially introduced the much-awaited Galaxy S25 series during their recent Unpacked event. While the spotlight was firmly on the main series, the Galaxy S25 Edge model remains shrouded in mystery, with only prototypes showcased at the event, leaving enthusiasts eager for more information.
Exciting news has surfaced regarding the release of the Galaxy S25 Edge. According to the latest reports, the official launch is scheduled for April. A reliable source, @chunvn8888, has shared on Twitter that the device will be unveiled on April 15th. Following the announcement, it will be exclusively available at MWG (Mobile World) stores in Vietnam, echoing the release schedule previously hinted for Korea on April 16th.
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is set to feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, paired with 12 GB of RAM and a 4,000 mAh battery. On the photography front, the device is expected to boast a dual rear camera setup with 12 MP and 200 MP sensors. A standout feature of the S25 Edge is its remarkable thinness, measuring at just half the thickness of the Galaxy Z Fold 6. However, this sleek design necessitates some compromises, including a reduction in battery capacity and the transition to a dual-sensor camera configuration.
Given its specialized design and features, Samsung is likely to maintain a limited production volume for the Galaxy S25 Edge, making it a coveted item for tech enthusiasts and collectors alike.
