At least two individuals lost their lives and numerous others sustained injuries due to a series of Russian military offensives throughout Ukraine, as reported by local media on Tuesday. In the region of Zaporizhzhia, one civilian was tragically killed and five others were injured following an assault by Russian forces on Monday evening. The regional governor, Ivan Fedorov, stated that the attack “destroyed and damaged residential buildings and social facilities.”
The assault severely disrupted local infrastructure, with a local school and church being destroyed and dozens of homes suffering damage. In the eastern region of Donetsk, another civilian was reported killed, and one individual sustained injuries according to Governor Vadym Filashkin.
Meanwhile, in Kharkiv, five individuals were reportedly injured due to the attacks, which also led to the damage of several houses and vehicles. The Korabelnyi district of Kherson experienced artillery fire from Russian forces, resulting in damage to residential buildings, although fortunately, there were no reported injuries, according to local official Roman Mrochko.
Other areas across Ukraine, including Dnipro and Sumy, reportedly faced similar attacks. The Ukrainian General Staff disclosed that Russia launched two missile strikes and 99 airstrikes targeting Ukrainian military units and civilian settlements on Monday. An extensive use of over 2,000 drones was noted in these assaults.
