In 1991, a younger Paul Rudd featured in the American commercial for the launch of the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). Fast forward over three decades, and he is once again the face of Nintendo’s latest promotion, but this time for the Nintendo Switch 2.

The new commercial cleverly mirrors the charm of the original SNES ad, sparking nostalgia for fans. Here’s a glimpse into the past and the present:

The anticipation for the Nintendo Switch 2 is palpable, especially with the launch title Mario Kart World ready to race into gamers’ hands. Both the console and the game will be available globally on June 5th.
