Nvidia’s Latest Hotfix Driver: Addressing Critical Issues

In a critical update, Nvidia has launched a new hotfix driver aimed at resolving the temperature sensor bug found in the most recent GeForce Game Ready driver. Such fixes are rare, signifying the urgency and importance of the issues at hand, which cannot be postponed until the next Game Ready WHQL release.

Resolving the Temperature Sensor Problem

Nvidia users may recall a recent issue with driver 576.12, which caused malfunctions with the GPU temperature sensor when computers resumed from sleep or power-saving modes. This critical issue is now remedied in the freshly released version 576.15. Notably, the new driver builds upon the foundation of 576.02, thereby also tackling earlier black screen occurrences and stability concerns.
