Marsh, the esteemed insurance broker and risk advisor, and a subsidiary of Marsh McLennan, has declared a pivotal leadership transition at Bowring Marsh Bermuda, its international placement specialist based on the island. The company has appointed Lindsay Roos as the new CEO, succeeding Christopher Reeves, who will now take on the role of Chairman.
In her elevated role, Roos will report directly to Adam Russell, Head of Global Wholesale at Marsh. Russell expressed his confidence, stating, “Lindsay brings a wealth of experience, a proven track record in the industry, and strong insurer relationships to the role. I am confident that her leadership will drive continued success in this critical market for our clients.”
With nearly two decades of industry experience, all acquired at Marsh, Roos commenced her career as a casualty risk analyst and transitioned to Bermuda in 2013 to join Bowring Marsh’s Excess Casualty Insurance Department. Her most recent position was as Chief Operating Officer and Casualty and Healthcare Leader for Bowring Marsh Bermuda.
Reflecting on her new role, Roos remarked, “I am excited to lead the team here in Bermuda. My focus will be on effectively engaging with the Bermuda markets and ensuring we deliver optimal outcomes that align with our clients’ insurance and risk management objectives.”
