Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, the latest addition to the iconic franchise, has been making waves with its remarkable sales performance on the PS5. According to data shared by Alinea analyst Rhys Elliott, the game has surpassed 100,000 copies sold in its first week of release, outpacing its sales on both Steam and Xbox.
While the sales figures are impressive across the board, it’s noteworthy that the Xbox version lags due to the prevalence of Game Pass subscribers who can access the game without an additional purchase. This trend is mirrored to some extent on PC, where many gamers opt for Game Pass over purchasing through platforms like Steam.
Analyzing the data further, it’s estimated that the PS5 version is selling 28% faster than its PC counterpart within the same one-week period. Specifically, the PS5 managed to sell 117,200 copies compared to Steam’s 91,200.
Contributing to its success, the PS5 version includes exclusive features that enhance the overall gaming experience. It is also labeled as PS5 Pro Enhanced, signifying superior performance and quality, which might be driving its popularity among PlayStation enthusiasts.
