Following the release of the Honor GT in December 2024, anticipation has been building for its advanced sibling, the Honor GT Pro. Finally, Honor has confirmed that this eagerly awaited flagship phone will be unveiled on April 23, 2025 at 2:30 PM local time in China.
To mark the occasion, Honor has released four official images showcasing the GT Pro’s design. The camera island stands out with its central placement and elegant aesthetics, maintaining the distinctive GT lettering in the bottom right corner. This design choice highlights Honor’s intent to emphasize the phone’s flagship status.
Under the hood, the Honor GT Pro promises cutting-edge performance with the rumored Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Preliminary leaks suggest a stunning 6.78-inch 1.5K flat display, a powerful 50 MP main camera, and a robust battery ranging between 6,000 mAh and 6,999 mAh, complete with 100W wired charging capabilities.
The GT Pro is set to boast an OLED display featuring a 144Hz refresh rate, LPDDR5X Ultra RAM, and UFS 4.1 storage. Security and durability are enhanced with a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner and massive Rhino Glass protection. Audiophiles will appreciate the dual 1216 symmetrical speakers, while gamers can look forward to the Oasis polarized eye protection screen and advanced location technologies like dual-frequency GPS and triple-frequency Beidou support.
Upon its release, the Honor GT Pro will be available in China via Honor’s official website, authorized online platforms, and retail stores. Pricing details and additional specifications will be disclosed at the launch event on April 23.
