Sony Interactive Entertainment and Sucker Punch have officially revealed the release date for Ghost of Yotei, along with details of its special editions. This much-anticipated game, introduced during the September State of Play, promises a gripping narrative set against the backdrop of Mount Yotei.

When is Ghost of Yotei Release Date? As revealed, players can mark their calendars for October 2, 2025, when the game will be available exclusively for PlayStation 5. Pre-orders are scheduled to commence on May 2, 2025. The game will carry the PlayStation 5 Pro Enhanced tag, highlighting its advanced features and graphics.

The Story of Ghost of Yotei In this new installment, players will step into the shoes of Atsu, embarking on a perilous quest to dismantle the notorious Yotei Six organization. Driven by vengeance after the destruction of his family’s farmhouse, Atsu’s journey promises rich storytelling and immersive gameplay.

What to Expect in The Onryo’s List Trailer The newly released trailer, titled The Onryo’s List, offers a glimpse into the game’s dynamic mechanics. Viewers can expect to see innovative new weapons, a trusty companion, and a beautifully crafted world with diverse travel methods.

Exclusive Editions and Pre-order Bonuses Alongside the game’s release, special editions have been announced. Pre-ordering the game will reward players with seven unique PSN profile pictures and an exclusive in-game mask.

The Digital Deluxe Edition enriches the experience with the Snake Armor Set, Digital Deluxe Armor Paint and Ornament, Horse and Saddle, Traveler’s Maps, and a Sword Kit. Meanwhile, the Collector’s Edition goes a step further, offering everything from the Digital Deluxe Edition plus a replica of Atsu’s Ghost mask, a 71″ sash featuring the Yotei Six’s names, a Tsuba and stand for the Katana sword crafted by Atsu’s father, a skill game named Zeni Hajiki, a foldable paper shrine tree, artistic cards, and a base figure accompanied by a wolf.
