New Trailer for DOOM: The Dark Ages Released

Bethesda Softworks and id Software have released an electrifying new trailer for DOOM: The Dark Ages. This trailer showcases not only the gripping storyline but also the weapons and intense action sequences that players can expect. The highly anticipated new entry in the DOOM series is set to launch on May 15, 2025, barring any unforeseen delays. Excitingly, DOOM: The Dark Ages will be available on Game Pass from day one and is being developed for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.

Originally announced during the Xbox Games Showcase in June, a second trailer has now been released to further tease fans. DOOM: The Dark Ages marks a new chapter in the franchise by introducing storytelling through cutscenes, a first in the series’ history. The new trailer offers a glimpse of these narrative elements, adding depth to the gameplay experience.

Players can look forward to wielding a variety of weapons throughout the campaign, including a crossbow-style BFG, as well as an array of ranged and melee options. The trailer also reaffirms the strategic importance of the shield in combat.
