Cyber insurance technology leader Cyberwrite has significantly broadened its collaboration with the global re/insurance broking group Howden. This expansion now makes Cyberwrite’s advanced cyber risk analytics accessible across 52 countries and in seven different languages.
The partnership between Howden and Cyberwrite was initially announced in March 2024, with the goal of fortifying cyber resiliency for clients around the globe. Cyberwrite’s cutting-edge risk quantification technology empowers Howden brokers to deliver their clients with actionable insights and industry benchmarks. This enables businesses of all sizes to effectively assess their cyber exposure and optimize their insurance coverage.
According to Howden’s 2024 cyber report, there has been a 15% reduction in insurance pricing since its peak in 2022. This is coupled with insurers increasing coverage limits, removing certain ransomware-related restrictions, and lowering retention levels.
With Cyberwrite’s AI-driven risk reports, powered by its patented 4SEEN technology, insurers now have deeper insights into cyber risk, which enhances their underwriting confidence. Nir Perry, CEO and Founder of Cyberwrite, stated, “Cyber insurance is becoming an essential part of business resilience, and Howden is leading the charge in delivering smarter cyber risk solutions globally. By equipping Howden brokers with Cyberwrite’s patented AI-driven real-time risk reports, we’re helping businesses worldwide make informed decisions and secure the coverage they need against growing cyber threats.”
The cyber insurance market is projected to reach a staggering $50 billion by 2030, making accurate risk assessment more critical than ever. The collaboration between Cyberwrite and Howden aims to tackle key challenges for brokers, including client education, policy optimization, and underwriting efficiency.
Shay Simkin, Global Head of Cyber at Howden, remarked, “By integrating Cyberwrite’s reports into our cutting-edge Cyber+ system, we are able to offer best-of-breed cyber risk reports worldwide in real time to our customer base and beyond. We have been utilizing Cyberwrite’s technology since 2019, and by expanding this relationship, we can provide more context about risk exposure to companies that are not yet aware of how vulnerable they are.”
