It’s been over six years since Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 hit the gaming scene, captivating players worldwide. Even today, the game boasts a dedicated player base eagerly awaiting fresh content. As anticipation for the next installment in the series grows, fans are particularly excited about the upcoming expansion pack for The Division 2.

Rumors suggest that this wait might come to an end soon. According to Insider-Gaming’s Tom Henderson, who spoke on the Insider Gaming Weekly podcast, the expansion titled Battle for Brooklyn is set to arrive by late May.

What to Expect from Battle for Brooklyn

Henderson notes that while Battle for Brooklyn may not be as extensive as previous expansions, it promises to deliver a unique experience. “From what I’ve heard, it’s not a big expansion pack. It’s probably the smallest one in the series. They’re going to sell it for $15,” he mentioned.

Release Date and Development Journey

Initially, Battle for Brooklyn was slated for a 2024 release. However, the timeline shifted, pushing it to early 2025 as part of the sixth-year content lineup. Despite these delays, Ubisoft’s commitment to quality and player satisfaction is evident. It was in January that the company announced another postponement, moving the release to the seventh-year content schedule.

Players can expect more information soon, as Ubisoft has scheduled an announcement for Wednesday. The gaming community eagerly awaits detailed insights and a confirmed release date.
